Good to see such a good turnout at the clubnight at our potential new venue, so you could give us your views. It also shows that Colins e mails do get through! We will hold the next Club night at The Cricketers on September 7th before we make the final decision, but the general concensus is that it would be a good move. They made us very welcome, but we do have to make sure we dont park irresponsibly,(and be careful about the use sidestands on soft tarmac), and that we make as little noise as possible when we leave at the end of the meeting. The one backfire on the night was something not heard since Colins AJS played up on a trip to Burnham on Crouch! With 36 members and six guests, and with 19 bikes on the premeeting ride its fair to say we would have had problems with those numbers at the other place. We have investigated one or two other venues as well. We thank George for his efforts in all this. We would also thank Jim Lomax for giving us his extensive knowledge and experiance of the Drop Off System, and what we shoiuld be doing to keep every one safe, as well as not getting lost. I will lead a ride to visit Cleve in Lowestoft on the 19th, leaving The Cricketers at 9am to get us there in good time. We are looking for a volunteer for an evening ride in August and the pre meeting ride on the 7th of September, which will be the last this year, so Contact Colin or myself if you are up for it. Keep an eye on Colins e mails as the month goes by. Gordon
