The weather has definitely turned so it’s time to fit the linings back into the jacket and trousers.
I have ,managed to get the bikes all filled with new oil and prepared for the winter, and a trip out on the old bike last week confirmed that winter is here.
Plenty of mud on the roads, and the occasional blast of screen wash are a sure sign. Do any car drivers use their mirrors?
Lunch at The Marlborough Head inn, Dedham was well supported and we were made welcome.
The two open fires also proved popular.

The November club night was well attended, despite my bit about the MotoGp, and a good natter was had by all.
John and I made a trip to Kettering. It was a first for me as I had been abandoned the last time around Higham Ferrers! A misunderstanding meant that Colin missed it. Not me this time.
I have to say the reception was not quite what I expected. If that is the public face of the club, then in my opinion it needs a shake up!
John did find what he was looking for from the spares department.
They did seem to have a good selection of bargain bikes of other makes.
It started off as a wet journey but dried up nicely as the day went on. Quite a good ride.
We had a committee meeting today and roughed out the programme for next year.
Now is the time if you have got any ideas of where to go or places to visit.
The provisional list will be published shortly but there is always room for other events to be added.
The next lunch meet is at the Crown at Wormingford on November 30th.
The photo competition will be held at the next club night on December 5th.
