Sorry I missed the club night, but I understand Colin did an excellent job without me. I'm afraid I also missed the Section Notes deadline for the magazine, no great lost but useful for new members to see what we get up to!

Pleased to see several volunteers for rides and visits for the coming year and I thank you all for your efforts - railway museums, airfields and many more.

There was another record turnout with thirty members, two guests and four apologies. Lets hope we see more of you riding with us during the year. The Pre 65 event in June is now a section event so we shall need some help and support for that.

There won't be an intersection meeting this year. Last year was quite interesting! The Jampot rally in August is in Horndean, and is just an hour away from the Sammy Miller Museum. I intend to ride to the rally on Friday 23rd, attend the rally in the afternoon and evening, and then Visit Sammy Miller on Saturday, riding home in the evening. We have done there and back on the same day before. This will be much more leisurely.

The next ride, thanks to John Swann is from the Alma to Landguard Point on Tuesday 26th, leaving the Alma at 10.30am. You can meet us there for lunch, and can even come by car!

The next lunch meeting is FRIDAY 1st March at The Saracens , Newton Green. The next club night is Wednesday March 6th. I hope to see you there
