First of all, I apologise for missing updating the website but I drove to Spain in May and im still recovering! I was a bit put out that you all managed without me, but its good that you did. I was able to join in with Paul's Fish and Chip run, which was well organised and the wealthy residents of Mersea island provided dedicated parking, and in the tradition of our fish and chip runs, one of the two nominated chip shops was closed! George has been working hard after the Alma wanted to trim up their accomodation for the jubilee on our club night, so we moved the clubnight at the Alma to the 8th, and Julian led a ride to The Crown, Wormingford on our normal club night, June 1st, from the Alma, so the members could have a look round the place. Normal service will resume on the 8th. In the meantime , our leader has contracted Covid, so you may have to put up with the B team on the night. I shall be leading a daytime ride from The Alma at 10.00 am on Thursday 23rd of June, destination yet to be finalised, possibly somewhere in Suffolk, so watch out for Colins e Mails. I gather that Covid cant be transmitted by E mail! Gordon
