It was good to see you all at our February clubnight. I hope to take a more active part this year, and I would like to thank Colin and George for all their work behind the scenes. With 27 members, 3 Guests,1 dog and half a dozen bikes, it was a good turnout for a February meeting. Some of you may have spotted Dereck, the previous landlord, having a drink. Good to see him as well. There were four apologies as well. Colin as usual had been busy, and his idea for bypassing the trophy engraving in future looked a good one. He also mentioned the problems some are having opening attatchments with his e mails. If you still have problems, do contact him. The club finances are Ok , and thank you all for your continuing support and donations. The run to the Victoria on Friday February 11th, 10am leaving from The Alma, will I hope get us started on our ride programme for the year. There were some ideas put forward for places to visit, so do keep them coming, and dont be afraid to volunteer to organise one as well. Our BMF membership gives us our ride insurance cover for the year. The Pre 65 scambles start soon, and the new payment of £40 is an added incentive for a good day out,and I hope to have a couple of days out with them this year. You get fed as well, and you can always donate the proceeds to our club if you dont need it! Our next clubnight is March 2nd. See you there .Gordon
