Just a quick update on Decembers club night ,and what is going on in the lead up to Christmas. Good turnout for the club night, and thanks to George arranging the Alma, and despite the weather ,23 members and six guests attended. No bikes! I did consider it but not worth it. We managed a couple of rides in November, with 13 0n Johns ride to Clacton and another by me to Shotley Marina, with eight of us, where i managed to emulate our late leader, by not checking if the pub was open! We were able to retire to Pin Mill instead. And eight attended the lunch meeting at The Bull, Long Melford, and thanks to Dot for organising it. Hopefully we should be able to have our "Meet the Landlord" evening on the 15th,and all are welcome . On a more sobering note, the Funeral for David Lane is on December 17th at 11am at Colchester Crematorium. Our next club night is on wednesday 5th of January. Lets hope 2022 is a better year.
